What do you associate with the words "rule of law"?
When I entered the Sandinista Front, rule of law was always spoken of. We were going to have total liberation, we were going to be emancipated, we were going to be given rights. And the Front has given a women the right to register her children even if she is not married. Another of the rights that was won here in Nicaragua is the right to express whatever political ideology we have.
But the laws are not always implemented. For example, there is a law that says every ten employees of the state, you have to have one employee who is disabled, like me. But the law is not being carried out.
