What is the status of women, in terms of security?
It is worse but now there is a little bit of improvement, but still those things are there. The violence against women, in terms of rape, that is still happening. And there is nobody to address them and even to help women come out of their situation or whom do you report to. Sometimes women say to us that they wanted a policewoman to be there when we have a problem like this. When they go to a policeman, they are not being helped, so they are looking for certain places where they can go and report such a case. So they say that policemen tell women who report such crimes that they are the ones who look for sex or that maybe they were walking at night when they shouldn't have been.
In addition to that, women are not allowed to go serve as a witness for another woman. The law cannot allow you to be a witness in the court for other women.
