Is it hard to make the transition when you return home from a mission?
Yeah, the challenges are huge. It's much harder transitioning home than it is into the mission. It's harder to let go of that intensity, and in a way it's adrenaline, you're almost always on an adrenaline high when you're in these missions. And then--it sounds trivial, but for me it illustrates a lot--going into a supermarket when I first get home. The number of times where I [walk in and then I] just walk right out [of the supermarket] without buying anything because I'm overwhelmed, literally overwhelmed by the choices, the amount, the everything, and it's just too much and I walk out the door.
